Here's our family. Though not all of us are related by birth, we're all related through our passion for connecting families with great things in cities around the world. We love to explore the arts and history and sports and even science (Yes, some of us are passionate about science).

Hi, I'm Anne
I love art history, International Studies, traveling, running and taking care of the most beautiful and most exciting baby girl in the world! I also enjoy maps (both old and new), solving difficult problems and "arts and crafts." I love the banks for the Potomac River, the steps next to Memorial Bridge, along the Tidal Basen, Roosevelt Island, the Alexandria coast, Haynes Point, even Georgetown, anything along the river. My favorite memorial is the Jefferson Memorial because Thomas Jefferson was such an interesting man.And the memorial is so quiet and peaceful. My favorite museum in Washington is the Smithsonian International Gallery. My favorite foods are chocolate, Chimichi (an Argentine sauce eaten with beef), Proscuit or Serrano ham, eggplant, fish, Maryland crabcakes and all condiments!

Hi, I'm Maggie
I'm sure we have a number of the same interests. I love all "our cities" but I especially like Washington and London. In Washington my favorite museum is the National Gallery of Art. Beautiful paintings! My favorite place to bring out-of-town guests is porch of the Canadian Embassy. My favorite place for a picnic is the island in the middle of Constitution Gardens. It's lovely and quiet there.
Now in London I love taking photos of everything!!!! I really enjoy walking along the river, especially at night and I love sitting in St James park on a sunny day while a marching band goes by. It happens! I also like watching the street performers in Covent Gardens or Leicester Square or visiting the Science Museum -- You could spend days in this museum. I crave stories about the Tower of London so if you have ones you really like, please send them to me. And then there's art!!!!! It's everywhere.

Hi, I'm Jill
I enjoy being around people, animals, traveling, and spending time outdoors. My favorite place in the DC area is Great Falls to picnic and hike. I also love outdoor events on the mall downtown. I also have fond memories of many field trips as a student and teacher to the air and space museum which include eating astronaut ice cream at the end of each visit. I enjoy socializing outdoors on the waterfront in Georgetown and day trips to Annapolis.

Hi, I'm Nicole.
I think New york City is a fascinating place to live and an exciting city to visit. From the Statue of Liberty to the Bronx Zoo, there is always something exciting to do. I think that it might take a lifetime to experience all the museums and cultural events that New York City has to offer! Central Park is my favorite place to take visitors. In the park I like to ice skate, visit the zoo, look at sculpture, take a boat ride, go jogging, enjoy nature and visit the fabulous museums nearby. I also enjoy visiting all the different heighborhoods that comprise NYC. Each one is unique and packed with interesting attractions. I know that you are going to love NYC as much as I do.

Nicole has a BA in Art History from the University of Colorado at Bolder and a Masters Degree in Museum Education from George Washington University in Washington, DC. She has 6 years experience teaching children's art classes and designing curriculum for museums, schools and camps.
