OH MAMA, it's the THE MOMA! The Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art
If your visit to New York includes the first Saturday of a month you are very fortunate. The MOMA offers a special Tour for Tots. This tour is held during the hour before the museum opens to the public. This allows you and your toddler/preschooler to be free to look, listen and ask all the questions you want. It's so much fun you won't want to miss a minute of the hour.

What will happen if one family member likes history and government things, another loves antiques , still another has a passion for animals and your youngest family member is into things "green"? How could everyone be pleased? Well, you might consider visiting the Diplomatic Reception Rooms at the Department of State, just like foreign dignitaries do. There's history everywhere here --- You'll even find the desk where John Jay signed the 1783 Treaty of Paris between the United States and England. Now that's an antique desk! As for animals and the color "green"--- You just have to look around. Check out furniture legs, carpets and even the dishes. Let us know what you discover.
